Responsibilities

We're looking to add a PART-TIME General Maintenance Mechanic to our team in Culpeper, VA. This is an 8 hour shift as needed Saturday OR Sunday. The facility we're managing has just over 400,000 square feet, at which you can help us perform the following: 

 

  • Assist in preventive maintenance program for building systems - i.e. Cooling towers, Boilers, Chillers, Sprinkler systems 
  • Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors, using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings
  • Repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets painting structures and equipment
  • Repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks
  • Replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles, hanging doors and installing door locks, replacing broken window panes
  • Performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years as a commercial/large facility building maintenance mechanic 
  • Practical skill and knowledge (but not proficiency) in such trades as painting, carpentry,

    plumbing, masonry, and electrical work

  • EPA Universal License (CFC)
