Responsibilities

The Quality Control Manager (QCM) is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of all facility operations and maintenance services provided at a large government facility, ensuring compliance with contract requirements. With at least 5 years of recent experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance management, the QCM will develop, implement, and maintain a specific Quality Control Plan. The QCM will also monitor the performance of onsite employees and subcontractors, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and timeliness in service delivery. 

 

The QCM will hold a high school diploma at a minimum and possess technical experience as a licensed journeyman in a mechanical trade. They will play a critical role in ensuring the workforce adheres to contractual quality standards and processes, and they will oversee the rapid response to service calls and the timely delivery of reports and deliverables. Salary range dependent on qualifications and experience $70,000.00-$80,000.00.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the HUD-specific Quality Control Plan (QCP) based on ISO 9001:2015 standards and the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
  • Ensure all onsite employees and subcontractors adhere to quality control processes and meet contract requirements.
  • Monitor service delivery, ensuring rapid response to service calls and timely delivery of reports and project deliverables.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections, audits, and assessments to ensure work meets specified standards.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure all quality-related issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Provide training and guidance to the workforce to ensure compliance with quality control procedures.
  • Prepare and submit quality status reports as required by the contract

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • At least 5 years of recent experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
  • Licensed journeyman in a mechanical trade, with relevant technical experience.
  • Experience in developing and implementing quality control plans for similar-sized projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality issues.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills to enforce quality standards and train personnel.
  • Ability to develop, write, and implement detailed quality control plans.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills for maintaining accurate quality records.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and subcontractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure timely resolution of quality issues.

Schedule:
The QCM will work on-site during regular business hours and be available as needed for quality inspections and audits.
