Donohoe Construction Company, one of the most prominent General Contractors in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area is actively seeking a highly motivated Quality Control (QC) Representative with a focus on New Construction, to join our team. This QC Representative will regularly be on the project site to support the Field Team by administrating the Donohoe Quality Control Program as well as conducting warranty investigations and repairs as needed.


  • Perform site observations of air barrier, weather resistant barriers, waterproofing (above and below grade), roofing, flashings, penetrations, terminations, and showers pans and report all findings
  • Perform appropriate ASTM test methods for investigative purposes on areas of concern of existing buildings
  • Review and assist in the resolution of QC issues identified in the field


  • Associate’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience in similar role or other construction related position
  • Ability to comprehend and analyze blue prints with a  high attention to detail
  • High sense of urgency to work independently and meet critical deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills – written, presentation, and interpersonal
  • Possess a high degree of integrity and dedication to superior customer service
  • Mechanically inclined with a knowledge of tools and common construction practices
