We are adding a Financial Analyst to our largest Facility Management Team. You will be supporting a global financial institution within Washington DC with a global presence in more than 140 countries.   


While this person has support from corporate finance and an onsite project accountant, you will be responsible to lead all aspects for the  financial reporting and analysis of the contract. This would include, but not limited to; budget planning, aggregating labor expenses in the cost-plus model, job costing, budget analysis, forecasting, actual variance reports, running reconciliations, and creating effective visualizations from data to effectively present to management/client on a monthly basis.  Strong analytical skills are required to effectively communicate and monitor job progress, expenses against budget. 


The candidate will report to the Account Executive with responsibility for ad hoc, monthly and quarterly progress reports to the Division President and Comptroller.  Improves financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends and recommending actions to the Facility Management Team to influence long term strategic decision making. 


  • BS in Finance/Accounting, Economics or Mathematics, Masters Preferred
  • Minimum of five years’ experience, exposure to JD Edwards preferred
  • Experience with statistical analysis and financial forecasting
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify data patterns/cost trends
  • Outstanding oral and written presentation skills, reporting and communication
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills
