    The Donohoe Companies is seeking an HR Intern to assist with various projects, HR initiatives, administrative tasks, and department operations.  This is a paid internship, with a flexible work schedule up to 2 days per week.



    • Develop an aptitude to attract talent by contributing to the talent acquisition process.
    • Strengthen the ability to assess talent by participating in the talent selection process.
    • Enhance the employee experience by assisting with the development of an HR website for employees.
    • Build business acumen skills by researching HR trends and innovative ideas, and making recommendations that contribute to the company’s strategic plan.
    • Support daily HR operations to include maintaining electronic employee records and auditing personnel files to ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Participate in training and development activities. 


    • Graduate or Current College Student (3+ years); Bachelor’s Degree (Human Resources emphasis preferred, but not required)
    • Microsoft Office, Desktop Publishing, Graphic Arts and advanced Excel experience is a plus.
    • Strong interest in and a basic knowledge of (or desire to learn) employment law, recruiting, and employee relations.
    • Must be detailed-oriented, and possess time management skills and a high-level of confidentiality.
