The ideal Maintenance Mechanic will have experience in the repair and operation of complex buildings equipment and systems such as performed by a stationary engineer, air conditioning equipment mechanic, maintenance electrician and/or plumber pipe-fitter. The hours for this position are 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, typically M-F. Some shift changes for maintenance and repairs on weekends. Rotation on call schedule for after hours.
The experienced Maintenance Mechanic shall have journeyman level experience in at least two of the following trades and relevant knowledge of the remaining trade activities:
Operating/adjusting building HVAC systems for efficiency and comfort
Maintaining/troubleshooting and repairing the following systems/equipment:
